Fall in the air. Stars in the sky. Dust on your boots. A really cold beer.
The kind of show that reminds us Austin is still right where we always knew it was.
On Sunday, October 17th at the legendary Threadgill's World Headquarters in by-golly South Austin,
an amazing lineup of artists takes the outdoor stage for a day of incredible music and performances, with all proceeds
benefiting the great work of Operation Turkey. Over the years folks like Alejandro Escovedo, Bob Schneider, Ruthie Foster,
Patrice Pike, Carolyn Wonderland, Guy Forsyth, David Grissom, Malford Milligan,
and many more have generously given their all and played for hundreds of folks each day, making Austin Yam Jam one of the best autumn music events in these Texas foothills.
It's not a mega festival. You can't buy a sparkle wristband. No need to tell people you're weird. Austin Yam Jam is just
great music at a great place in our great town. And most important of all, it's 100% FOR the people of our great town.
Make your plans now to join us. We'll see you there!

Mission
The Austin Yam Jam concert is the sole fundraising vehicle of the year for Operation Turkey, an Austin-born and Austin-based
not-for-profit organization that feeds and clothes the many local homeless and less fortunate at Thanksgiving time.
The incredible music fans who attend and the artists who play at Yam Jam make it possible for thousands of people less fortunate than
others to share in Thanksgiving too, right here at home.
In exchange for a small, tax-deductible donation ($15 presale or $20 at the door), the Austin Yam Jam treats hundreds of attendees to a show of
several wonderful artists, with a special, once-in-a-lifetime Yam "Jam" mix of artists capping off the day.
