I want to personally thank each and every person who came out to this year's Austin Yam Jam. Porterdavis, Guy Forsyth (and band) and Mingo Fishtrap were outstanding. The impromptu Yam Jam at the end of the evening with Guy Forsyth playing with Mingo Fishtrap was spectacular and a once in a lifetime event.

The 2008 Austin Yam Jam has been announced for Sunday, October 5th, 2008. The Austin Yam Jam - Back For Seconds concert will be at Threadgills in Austin, Texas at the corner of Riverside and South 1st. The lineup has been finalized and we are very excited about this year.
This family-friendly event starts at 3:00 PM and goes until 8:00 PM. All proceeds go towards buying the food that we hand out each year at Thanksgiving.

Please tell your friends and family. This is the only event Operation Turkey uses to raise money each year so we want to be sure to make it a huge success.
Be sure to buy your tickets early as last year was full capacity and this year is destined to be sold out!
